Property Law
Property transactions, managed by lawyers — not paralegals.
Residential and commercial property, end to end.

Overview
Property Law at Khoury Scott & Associates.
Property is often the largest financial decision our clients ever make. We act on residential conveyancing, commercial and industrial transactions, and retail and commercial leasing — for both landlords and tenants — across Queensland.
Every contract is reviewed by an admitted solicitor before signing where time allows. We identify risks, negotiate special conditions and manage your matter through settlement so there are no surprises on the day.

Our approach
A clear, consistent process — start to finish.
01
Pre-contract review
We review the contract before you sign — flagging risks and proposing amendments while you still have leverage.
02
Conditions period
We track finance, building & pest and any due diligence dates, and liaise with brokers, agents and inspectors on your behalf.
03
Settlement preparation
Searches, statement of adjustments, transfer documents and lender coordination — all confirmed in writing before the settlement date.
04
Settlement & after
We attend electronic settlement via PEXA, confirm registration of transfer, and provide a final report for your records.
Questions
Property Law — answered.
The questions we are most often asked. Not a substitute for advice on your specific matter.
- Yes — wherever possible. Once a standard REIQ contract is signed in Queensland, your ability to walk away is limited to the conditions written into the contract. A pre-signing review lets us negotiate amendments and special conditions while you still have full leverage.
